Every copywriting project is different, but I like to keep the copywriting process the same for each, and as simple as possible.
Below are my 6 easy steps to completing your project, ensuring that you are kept informed every step of the way.
Give me a call and we can have a chat about your requirements. Let me know the type of project, size, aim and when it is needed.
I will then send you a written quote for the work, including a summary of the details discussed.
The next step is to complete a Copywriting Brief. This allows me to gain as much information as possible about what it is you want to achieve. We can discuss the brief over the phone, face-to-face, or if you prefer, you can email the brief over to me.
The Copywriting Brief helps to determine the tone of voice, target audience, aims, competition and USP’s that enable me to bring your ideas to life. It’s a great way of unearthing as much information as possible.
I like to then send you written confirmation of the brief, including a fixed price (so you know exactly how much the work will cost) and agreed timings. I will also include an invoice for 50% payment upfront. At this point I need your written confirmation (an email is fine) and deposit to confirm that you are happy for me to proceed.
Once payment has been received I can start work on the first draft. I will then email this over to you as a Word document.
If you would like any amendments to be made, let me know. My quote includes 2 rounds of revisions, to make sure that you are 100% happy with the finished copy.
Once any changes have been made, and you are happy, I will forward you the final draft. I will also include an invoice for the balance. (My terms are 7 days)
I reserve the right to publish a link to your finished project for my portfolio, to promote my services.
